PERTH INTERNATIONAL JAZZ FESTIVAL AT THE ELLINGTON
An annual tradition since PIJF began, you’re invited to party with the stars of the festival in the intimate setting of The Ellington Jazz Club! Be in the room when international headliners and local legends come head to head in a one-night-only, spontaneous explosion of jazz virtuosity!
This years Jam is hosted by a generational talent on the rise, NYC-based jazz alto saxophonist, Sarah Hanahan!

A devotee of bebop with a commitment to tradition and a passion for jazz standards, Sarah has worked with Jeff “Tain” Watts, Nat Reeves, Dee Dee Bridgewater, the Grammy Award–winning Mingus Big Band and many more. She was recently featured in the inaugral class of NPR Jazz Night in America’s Youngbloods alongside Samara Joy, Immanuel Wilkins, Isaiah J. Thompson and Sean Mason. The series features “five up-and-coming jazz geniuses who are revolutionising their genre” – all under the age of 30. Sarah’s debut album, Among Giants, is out now, and tonight is your chance to be among giants!
