The jazz trio Number Junky led by guitarist, Kristian Borring, make their return to Ellington. The inventive Perth based group has become known for combining exciting rhythms and odd-time signatures with lyrical melodies and lush harmony. They portray earthiness and complexity in composition and improvisation. Number Junky launched their acclaimed 2nd album, BIRAK at the Ellington Jazz Club during end of 2025 – a concert described as “Masterly, organic, tight” (X-press Magazine). Get up close and experience the artistry of this impressive unit as they explore n ew music while delivering their gentle post-bop with unusual grooves and strong interplay.
