Lady Macbeth Played Wing Defence: In Concert is a high-energy, one-night-only event showcasing a stripped-back live version of the infectious pop soundtrack from the award-winning original musical by Crash Theatre Company, composed by the ingenious Project BEXX.

Performed by the 2025 touring cast, this concert-style event supports our upcoming season at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and promotes the release of our official touring cast album, dropping on all streaming services 31 July 2025.

Perth audiences will recognise the music from our back-to-back sold-out Perth Fringe seasons in 2024 and 2025. Now, as we take this homegrown WA hit to an international stage, this exclusive hometown performance offers a rare chance to experience the soundtrack in a fresh, intimate format – before it hits the global spotlight.

About the Artists:
Crash Theatre Company has assembled an all-female creative team of Western Australian artists known for blending theatre, music, and dance with razor-sharp wit and a bold feminist voice. Over the past two years this show has received national critical acclaim for its inventive take on Shakespeare and celebration of ambition, teenage girlhood, and women in sport.

Musical Direction and MC: Bec Price (Project BEXX)
Vocals & Cast Performances featuring the 2025 touring cast of Lady Macbeth Played Wing Defence: Orla Jean Poole, Courtney McManus, Kate Sisley, Shannon Rogers, Ana Ferreira Manhoso, Georgia McGivern, Gabriella Munro, and Emily Semple.
Stage Manager & Operations: Ella Cooke

Join us for an electrifying night of powerhouse vocals, live music, and a celebration of female-driven theatre, homegrown here in Perth before it hits the global stage. All ticket proceeds will go towards supporting the cast’s essential living costs during our month-long international tour.

Additional tax-deductible donations can be made through the Australian Cultural Fund – and if you can’t donate, please consider sharing the link to help us reach more supporters.
