Wyvern Big Band makes it’s way back to Perth’s home of jazz, The Ellington Jazz Club, to take you on a journey through jazz history. Wyvern are a 17-piece Big Band formed in 1996 by the late and great Neville Bird, who wanted to bring many Ex-Wesleyans together to play some jazz. 28 years on, the band are still kicking, Neville’s legacy is as strong as ever.
The band will perform an array of charts for jazz-heads new or experienced, such as “In the Mood”, “Mack the Knife”, as well as the “Theme from Family Guy” and a Jazz rendition of Van Halen’s “Jump” and some other funs surprises!
