Coming off the heels of their last blues show, jazz vocalist Venetia Edwards and blues guitarist Jackson Edmonds make their return to the Ellington stage to play a night of gritty blues classics. From the songbooks of Stevie Ray Vaughan and Freddie King, as well as whoever else strikes their fancy, Taste of Texas is a callback to some of blues guitar’s most important legends in one of blues most influential genres.
Jackson and Venetia are accompanied by the rest of their iconic blues lineup featuring the likes of Rio Berryman (Piano), Finn McKibbin (Bass), and Angus Davidson (Drums).
