Varley Strings featuring Ayla Woodland presents The Great Southern Rock Revival, a powerful live concert centred around the iconic music of Cold Chisel and Crowded House, with songs from INXS, Split Enz and other legendary artists woven throughout to tell the story of the Great Southern music scene. Along the way, discover the fascinating connections between the artists and the songs that have become the soundtrack for generations.
Varley Strings is Perth’s premier string ensemble, bringing Modern Live Strings to events across Western Australia, Australia and internationally. Led by Cheralyn, string quartet highlights include the Melbourne Grand Prix, Melbourne Cup Carnival, Optus Stadium and performances in Singapore. Joining Varley Strings is powerhouse vocalist Ayla Woodland, renowned for her dynamic stage presence and exceptional versatility, fronting big bands, Motown productions and contemporary live shows.
