Tim Parish has been performing Jazz around Perth for many years now, and his sell out shows have attracted a dedicated audience who enjoy his rich, versatile vocals, effervescent wit and a keen sense of the traditional jazz mode. Working regularly with Libby Hammer and also in solo shows, Tim has in recent years performed in “Beautiful Beasts”, “Entre Nous”, “A Little Bit Lost”, Ultra Lounge A-Go-Go”, “Shall We France”, “Springtime in Swingtime” and many other shows at the Ellington and about Perth.
“Fella Sings Ella” was first conceived as a Fringe show, receiving rave reviews and sell out performances every show. Now it has developed into a full performance, filled with variety and reverence for the extraordinary career of Ella Fitzgerald, who gave Tim his first true experience with Jazz in his childhood while Ella’s records spun joyously on his grandparents’ record player.
