Moonlight and Love Songs brings together four of Perth’s most captivating musicians for an evening of luminous harmony and heartfelt storytelling. Award-winning jazz vocalist and composer Allira Wilson, folk singer/songwriter Helen Shanahan, and jazz/blues vocalist and composer Jessie Gordon unite their voices in lush three-part harmonies, weaving original songs with evocative torch songs and timeless covers. They are joined by guitarist and singer Mark Turner, whose soulful musicianship and warm vocals provide the perfect foundation for the trio. Together, this ensemble creates an intimate hour of music, rich with feeling and connection—a spellbinding journey through moonlight and melody.

About the Presenter

Jessie Gordon has been presenting shows at Fringe World since its inception and has accumulated 28 Music and Cabaret Awards. Jessie is a singer and songwriter, dancer, poet and producer who brings her love of old world roots music into the 21st Century. She has toured the world singing jazz, blues and her original compositions and is a multi-award winning performer. Jessie has recorded over ten albums internationally in Spain, Germany, Singapore and Australia. Jessie’s confident and effervescent performance style makes her a joy to watch for audiences everywhere.
