Born and raised in Whakatāne, following up from his first New Zealand headline show in Mount Maunganui, Jinan returns to the Ellington for the 4th time.
A Māori artist and familiar face in the Perth music scene, Jinan has spent the past couple of years recording and performing between New Zealand and Australia, honing his craft and developing a powerful live show. Now back on Perth soil, he brings an eclectic blend of roots reggae, soul, and funk, delivered through a 4 piece band.
Jinan’s music leaves a heartfelt and spiritual experience through storytelling, guitar driven grooves and a magnetic stage presence. This special return show comes ahead of his upcoming album, Transit Love, giving audiences an early glimpse into his evolving sound.
