Fresh from a trip to Paris, Catherine Summers returns to one of her favourite places to perform—The Ellington Jazz Club—for a night of enchanting music and storytelling. Audiences will be transported to a Parisian jazz club, where romance and nostalgia fill the air.
Featuring timeless French classics such as Edith Piaf’s Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien, La Vie En Rose, and Milord, as well as Charles Trenet’s Que Reste-t-Il, the evening will also include beloved songs reminiscent of the era, like Ella Fitzgerald’s iconic April in Paris.
Backed by an exceptional band, Summers brings the essence of Paris to life, weaving through the music and history of the time with warmth, humour, and her signature storytelling. With the intimacy and charm that make The Ellington so special, this promises to be a night to remember.
