Join guitarist Oliver Vonlanthen for Musings in Music, an intimate trio performance exploring the intersections of jazz, Brazilian music, and the lyrical traditions of solo guitar. Inspired by the contemplative soundscapes of Keith Jarrett, Bill Evans, Pat Metheny, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Paco de Lucia, and Guinga, the evening will feature original compositions and adventurous reinterpretations of jazz standards and Latin classics. Blending acoustic, electric, and classical guitar textures within the dynamic framework of a minimalist guitar-bass-drums trio, this performance is a celebration of musical exploration and life lived through sound.
This performance will feature:
Oliver Vonlanthen – Guitars
Zac Grafton – Basses
Ben Vanderwal – Drums
