Lachlan Edinger’s Nuflame will make its debut on the Ellington Jazz Club’s iconic stage this June featuring the talents of some of Perth’s most exciting young musicians, including vocalist and current Ellington Jazz Club Excellence and Equity Prize recipient Matilda Cronin.
Lachlan Edinger is a Pianist/Composer-Arranger based in Boorloo (Perth). He has made an early impact on the Perth jazz and contemporary scenes with his groups Nuflame and Lachlan Edinger Band (appearing at The Bird, The Moon Cafe, Lyric’s Underground and more), as well as collaborations with prominent contemporary musicians (Bella Dyer, Symmetrical Dogs, Zoe Gol) and regular performances around the state. As a current WAYJO member and WAAPA student, Lachlan explores how modern jazz can be used to connect with an audience through interesting arrangements, exciting improvisation and collaborations with all kinds of musicians and artists.
