Lachlan Edinger Band explores the space between musics – Jazz + soul + rock + funk + RnB + indie, this unique lineup offers a deep connection to music that audiences around Perth have been resonating with since their launch late last year. Featuring some of the city’s finest young improvisers, audiences can expect to hear originals composed by leader Lachlan Edinger and arrangements of everything from Joni Mitchell to Duke Ellington to Donny Hathaway! Their goal is to make art music for everyone 🙂
Lachlan Edinger is a Pianist/Composer-Arranger based in Boorloo (Perth). He has made an early impact on the Perth jazz and contemporary scenes with his groups Nuflame and Lachlan Edinger Band (appearing at The Bird, The Moon Cafe, Lyric’s Underground and more), as well as collaborations with prominent contemporary musicians (Bella Dyer, Symmetrical Dogs, Zoe Gol) and regular performances around the state.
