At just 25, Jemma Cher is a Melbourne based vocalist who brings sophistication and dazzling virtuosity to each and every performance. Her debut studio album Let’s Do It, features collaborations with Lior, Simon Starr, Ben Grayson, Daniel Farrugia, and Joshua Moshe, and was named a semi-finalist in the 2025 International Songwriting Competition, which follows her earlier success as a semi-finalist in the 2024 Unsigned Only Music Competition.
A multi-award winning artist, Jemma has received four Performing Arts scholarships, won numerous competitions, and reached the semi-finals of the Rob Guest Endowment Award at just 17 years of age. Known for her expansive vocal range, effortless tone, and exceptional control, Jemma brings a distinctive voice to jazz, gospel and R&B repertoire. Her ability to blend technical precision with emotional authenticity has seen her meteoric rise in the Australian music scene. Last Christmas, Jemma was a featured soloist at Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight, broadcast live nationally on Channel 9 from Melbourne’s iconic Sidney Myer Music Bowl.
