Inn Echo (CAN) brings their spellbinding modern trad sound to The Ellington for a night of high-energy reels, lush soundscapes, and cinematic slow-burners.
Based in Prince Edward Island, Canada, this instrumental trio has spent the past several years touring three continents and collecting accolades along the way, including Music PEI awards and nominations from the JUNO Awards, East Coast Music Awards, and Canadian Folk Music Awards. Their latest album Hemispheres (2023) showcases their signature blend of original compositions and reimagined traditional tunes, pushing Celtic-rooted music into fresh, contemporary territory.
On stage, Inn Echo is all about chemistry and groove: Karson McKeown (fiddle), Tuli Porcher (5-string fiddle & cello), and Tom Gammons (guitar) weave intricate melodies, driving rhythms, and atmospheric textures into a sound that feels equally at home in a late-night session or a modern concert hall.
Expect fiery jigs, pulsing rhythms, and moments of pin-drop intimacy, all delivered with the improvisational flair and dynamic interplay that have made them one of Atlantic Canada’s most exciting exports.
