Bronwynn Sprogowski & Glyn MacDonald are together again!
Returning from Christchurch, NZ for a special one-off performance, renowned pianist Glyn MacDonald reunites with his long-time collaborators and the sensational vocalist Bronwynn Sprogowski.
The Bronwynn “Way” quartet made waves with an iconic residency at the Inglewood Hotel, where jazz greats like Matt Jodrell, Dane Alderson, and Troy Roberts would frequently join the stage. The venue buzzed with energy as swing dancers and jazz lovers packed the bar, celebrating the timeless magic of the Great American Songbook. This exclusive performance will revive the spirit of that legendary residency while showcasing the groups decades of musical experience.
Over the past six years, Glyn has been a fixture of the New Zealand jazz scene, performing nationwide with top ensembles and having his compositions featured in some of the country’s most prestigious concert halls. His career highlights include playing at state receptions for Queen Elizabeth II, the Duke of Edinburgh, and the Prince of Belgium, as well as sharing the stage with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra and James Morrison.
Bronwynn has recently performed with various ensembles in Perth, including Oz Big Band, the SIMmering Big Band, and the Perth Symphony Orchestra Big Band.
A former vocal educator in the WAAPA Jazz Department, she currently teaches voice and directs choirs at various Perth secondary schools.
