Second Set: Reuben Cope
Leading up to the recording of his debut EP, Reuben Cope offers a preview into music close to his heart.
Often seen at the Ellington co-leading the jazz-hip-hop fusion group Pareidolia, Reuben has taken this opportunity to present something in a different vein entirely. Drawing on his folk music upbringing while taking inspiration from Aaron Parks, John Scofield, and Glen Campbell, this new collection of compositions focuses on an intimate acoustic sound and reflects a more personal side of his musical identity.
