Blues ConFusion plays a mix of original music and interpretations of blues and jazz blues and rock artists. They have recorded and released two albums, an EP and a single of original music that are all available on Spotify and other streaming services. Formed in 2013, the line-up includes:

Phil is a self-taught guitarist who has been writing and playing his own songs since 1980. He formed Blues ConFusion to primarily play his original blues-rock-jazz fusion music.
Bella started a love of singing at primary school and went on to train at the Perth Academy of Dance and Musical Theatre and then at WAAPA. Since then she has graduated as a primary school teacher specialising in music education. She is a versatile singer who is comfortable with many genres including jazz, blues, musical theatre, pop, classical and folk.
Simon is a multi-instrumentalist focusing mainly on piano, Hammond style organ and occasionally trumpet. He has previously played on stage in bands with distinguished musicians including Dave Hole and Kerry B Ryan. Simon’s musicianship shines through and has given depth and dynamics to the band.
A multi-instrumentalist, Andy has been active in various roles in both the amateur and pro music scene for over 40 years, covering many different genres. Andy joined Blues Confusion as a bassist and looks forward to pleasing the crowds with the groups unique mix of Blues Rock and Jazz Fusion.
Drummer Tom Petrucci is also a multi-instrumentalist who has been playing music since an early age. He is keen and clean on the kit and has a very natural sense of rhythm and timing.
Blues ConFusion has played the many Western Australian festivals, including Blues in Bridgetown, the Ellington Jazz Club, The Perth Blues Club, The Duke of George, The Lyric Underground, The Darlington Arts Festival & Pavilion Fundraiser. Gidgestock, the Mt Helena Whim Festival, the Toodyay Music Festival, The Mundaring Folk and Blues Club, The Perth Folk and Roots Club, the Swan Hills Blues Club (Phil is President), the Hills Blues Club, the Parkerville Tavern, Glenfest at the Glen Forrest Sporting Club, The Beaufort Tavern and The Let’s Celebrate Belmont Festival where they supported Dave Faulkner from the Hoodoo Gurus.
