Daniella Sicari (UK) returns to her hometown for the Summer! She has been living in the UK for just over a decade, building her career in Europe. Trained at WAAPA and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, Daniella has become known for her versatility as a performer – moving effortlessly between opera, art song, musical theatre, cabaret, and jazz. She has appeared in operas and musicals with companies such as Buxton International Festival, Bergen National Opera, and Opera Holland Park, bringing her warmth and musical curiosity to every project.
Her jazz roots run deep: she has toured the UK with her band, The Easy Rollers, who celebrate their 10-year anniversary in 2026. Daniella has also co-produced touring cabarets like Drop Me Off in Harlem (UK Tour, Edinburgh Fringe), My Best Judys (Perth Fringe, Edinburgh Fringe), and Side by Side (Perth Fringe), which have delighted audiences across Australia and the UK.
Daniella is joined by pianist, conductor, and composer Joshua Haines – a versatile musical force with recent credits such as In These Shoes (Sydney Fringe/Adelaide Fringe/Edinburgh Fringe), Mama Alto: Transcendent (Melbourne Recital Centre/Hayes Theatre Company/Afterdark Performance Lounge) , as well as being resident musical director for the 2024 Perth International Cabaret Festival and She Loves Me (presented by Western Sky Projects) at Perth’s Liberty Theatre. A long-standing member of the WAAPA musical theatre faculty, Joshua is deeply committed to nurturing new Australian work and supporting emerging performers.
There may also be some special guests joining Daniella on stage. Come along for a heartfelt evening of music – across the musical sound worlds.
