Under the musical direction of Timothy How, international star Annie Aitken, together with local legends Jayda D’Agostino and Samuel Moloney will take you on a journey through your favourite show tunes from timeless classics and contemporary hits from the world of musical theatre.

They will bring iconic characters to life, weaving together heartwarming stories, comedy moments and show-stopping solos and duets from beloved musicals. Join us for an afternoon of musical theatre that will leave you humming your favourite show tunes all the way home!

About the Artists

Annie Aitken is a critically acclaimed performer known for her vocally and dramatically challenging roles across Australia and the UK. She most recently starred as Sarah Brown in Guys & Dolls for Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour, and as Cunégonde in Opera Australia’s Candide at the Sydney Opera House, a role she previously performed with State Opera & State Theatre South Australia, and originally with Sydney Philharmonia Choirs. Her breakout performance as Millie Dillmount in Thoroughly Modern Millie (The Production Company) established her as one of Australia’s leading ladies and showcased her as a true triple threat. UK credits include Hedy LaRue in How to Succeed in Business (Southwark Playhouse), Madame in Cinderella (Hope Mill Theatre), and Lucy Harris in the London premiere development of Jekyll & Hyde (Lambert Jackson), later performing the role alongside composer Frank Wildhorn in Frank and Friends at Cadogan Hall. Australian stage credits include Nellie Melba in Melba (Hayes Theatre Co), original cast of Muriel’s Wedding (STC / Global Creatures), A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Oklahoma! (TPC), The Sound of Music (GFO), Anything Goes (OA / GFO), Sweet Charity (Luckiest / Tinderbox), Opera Up Late (OA), Rolling Thunder Vietnam (Blake Entertainment), and Paulette in Legally Blonde (HAMA). A graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts and 2018 Rob Guest Endowment Award winner, Annie balances her stage life with her greatest role yet: being mum to twins Alfie and Tedd.

Jayda D’Agostino is a producer, performer and WAM nominated singer/songwriter, currently based in her home state of Perth, Western Australia. A passionate musician and life-long vocalist, Jayda holds both a Bachelor of Arts (Music Theatre) and a Diploma of Music Theatre from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. Jayda made her professional music theatre debut as Dorothy in ‘The Wizard of Oz – A Traditional Christmas Pantomime’ (Zealous Productions). Jayda premiered her 5-star, sold-out debut solo cabaret “Age of Reason – A Love Letter to Coming of Age and John Farnham” at Perth FringeWorld and Adelaide Fringe 2026 and is bringing the show over east this October for Melbourne Fringe. Jayda is passionate about sharing iconic Australian music and fostering connection through heartfelt storytelling.

Samuel Moloney is a Perth-based performer who has spent the past several years travelling internationally as a vocalist aboard ships for Royal Caribbean and Princess Cruises. A graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), he has developed a versatile repertoire spanning jazz, soul, pop, music theatre, and contemporary classics while performing for audiences around the world. He is delighted to be back home performing at The Ellington Jazz Club.

Timothy How is a thoroughly accomplished and in-demand vocal coach, repetiteur, singing teacher and music theatre lecturer. He spent two years as a member of the singing teaching staff in the Music Theatre course at the Elder Conservatorium at University of Adelaide. He has also spent 11 years working as a lecturer in Music Theatre at WAAPA and is currently co-ordinating the new Singing for Music Theatre stream of the Contemporary Music course. Amongst his other work at WAAPA, he was the Course Co-Ordinator for the Certificate IV course in Music Theatre for 2 and a half years and co-ordinated the WAAPA National Music Theatre Workshop for 2 years. As an actor, he recently appeared in Drew Anthony Creative’s acclaimed production of “Little Shop of Horrors” as Mr. Mushnik. Other professional stage credits include Smee in Zealous Productions’ “Peter Pan” and as the Dame Queen Doreen in “Sleeping Beauty”. He appeared as “Everyman and Edna understudy” in HAMA’s production of Hairspray at the Crown Theatre. Other roles include “Lonny” in Rock of Ages, “Baker” in Into the Woods, “Tobias” in Sweeney Todd and appearing as a lead performer in Side by Side by Sondheim.
