Step into the spirit of the old Southern juke joints – raw, soulful rooms where music ruled the night and the groove never quit.
Fronted by the endlessly versatile Howie Morgan (vocals/guitar), with Adam Ventoura (bass), Chris Tarr (drums), and special guests, this all star powerhouse trio serves up a fiery mix of blues, soul, and funk. Between them, they’ve shared stages with legends including Stevie Wonder, Midnight Oil, Al Green, Kate Ceberano, and Randy Brecker—touring festivals across the globe from the USA and Europe to Asia and South America.
Expect deep-pocket grooves, soul-drenched vocals, and searing musicianship as they reimagine classics from Ray Charles, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, and BB King, alongside modern icons like Leon Bridges, D’Angelo, and Jamiroquai.
Howie Morgan has supported Simply Red, Tina Arena, Ian Moss, and more, earning his reputation as one of Perth’s finest soul voices. Adam Ventoura is a renowned multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer whose versatility has made him one of the country’s most in-demand bassists, touring most notably with Midnight Oil. Chris Tarr, a WAAPA lecturer and award-winning drummer, studied at North Texas University and has performed with jazz greats from Steve Smith to Randy Brecker.
