About Solomon
Solomon Pitt (he/him) is an Indigenous Australian singer and songwriter from the Torres Strait, with family connections to Erub and Moa Island, who was born and raised in Boorloo (Perth).
Solomon’s practice is grounded in a belief that music is connective tissue between people and their emotions – where words fall short, music can speak. His work is inherently collaborative, spanning genres including R&B, soul, jazz, classical, house, pop and EDM. He is currently developing songwriting projects with artists both locally and internationally, exploring ideas of distance, connection and the ways music can make people feel close, even when they are far apart.
As a performer, Solomon creates live experiences that sit at the intersection of story, community and song. His performances are warm, conversational and deeply human, inviting audiences into moments of connection and shared experience.
Throughout his career, Solomon has collaborated with an array of acclaimed artists and organisations, including West Australian Symphony Orchestra, Guy Sebastian, Ministry of Sound, Katy Steele (Little Birdy), Vula Malinga (Basement Jaxx) and Perth Symphony.
His current songwriting collaboration with New York-based artist Vivian Sessoms is being developed towards a 2027 tour.
Solomon Pitt brings together voice, story and collaboration to create music that connects people — across genres, communities and distance.
