Wyvern Big Band, led by MD Lachlan Edinger, will entertain you with a variety of jazz, swing, blues and contemporary pieces. From lyrical ballads to up beat charts, there will be plenty of familiar tunes that will get your toes tapping. The big band, with its impressive line up of saxes, trumpets and trombones, plus a swinging rhythm section and two vocalists will take you on a musical journey. A perfect afternoon for couples, friends and families, this show will put a smile on your face, so grab a a drink, sit back and enjoy the show!
About the band
A community band comprised of former students, staff and parents of Wesley College, as well as community members, provides an avenue for those who played in a band at school to continue making music. Founded by Neville Bird over 30 years ago, Wyvern Big Band plays at venues across Perth and is available for hire.
