Since finishing his studies in jazz trumpet at WAAPA in 2024 Jacob has been cultivating a spot in the Perth scene by working as a session musician gigging and recording with local groups such as funk favourites ‘Maple’ and WAM 2026 song of the year award winners ‘Coco Elise’.
While keeping busy absorbing new genres and musical experiences, as well as completing further studies, Jacob has not lost his deep love for composing and performing his original music and is incredibly excited to finally share what he has been working on. Heavily influenced by musicians such as Wayne Shorter, Miles Davis and Bill Evans be prepared for tender moments, haunting soundscapes and a fresh musical experience given life by a highly reactive line-up of some of Perth’s most exciting young musicians!
