About the artist

Oren Dashti is an acclaimed jazz pianist, composer, and arranger whose musical footprint spans over two decades across Asia. Known for his profound versatility and evocative performances, Oren’s artistry bridges the gap between structured composition and absolute improvisational freedom.
Oren’s musical journey began at the classical keyboard, a foundation that later evolved into a deep-seated passion for jazz, orchestral composition, and sophisticated ensemble arranging. Having called Asia home for more than 20 years, his creative voice is uniquely shaped by the cultures, philosophies, and aesthetics of the region subtly weaving these influences into the fabric of his music.

A seasoned performer on the Asian festival and club circuits, Oren has commanded stages in nearly every configuration imaginable, from intimate duos to roaring big bands. His collaborative spirit is perhaps best showcased in his self-produced YouTube series, Duos, which features cross-cultural artistic partnerships with musicians from around the globe. He is also an accomplished composer, writing extensively for his own jazz trio as well as scoring for television and digital media. Yet, among all his musical endeavors, Oren’s truest passion lies in the solo piano format. It is here, at the intersection of a single instrument and an audience, where he finds the ultimate freedom to explore.
