Pareidolia is bringing their signature sound back to the Ellington for a late-night set of Jazz-hip-hop fusion goodness featuring surprise guest appearances!?!?!
Pareidolia is a dynamic five-piece jazz-hip-hop collective known for consistently bringing fresh sounds to the Perth music scene with their distinctive fusion of retro vibes and modern innovation. A regular act at The Ellington Jazz Club, Pareidolia has played across Perth and the East-Coast at shows such as the launch of the 2024 Perth International Jazz Festival, and continues to evolve with each performance.
The group showcases original compositions from both Reuben Cope (keys) and Jared Hemara (bass/rap) alongside group collaborations and reimagined jazz, hip-hop, soul and funk classics featuring vocalist Hazel May.
