Isaac Faithfull’s Quartet invites you to join them at the Ellington for a night of jazz standards that have shaped his musical career. Be prepared to hear classic jazz standards like Misty, Woody ‘n You and The Nearness of You, plus some originals of Faithfull’s that paint a picture of his musical career. Isaac Faithfull’s band consist of Emily Nahler (piano), McKale Barret (Bass) and Alfie Cronin (Drums).
Isaac Faithfull
Isaac Faithfull is an English-born jazz trumpet player with a broad and dynamic sound. He now resides in Perth, Western Australia. Isaac is honing his craft at the prestigious Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts. Throughout his musical career, he has been mentored by Australian and international trumpet royalty, such as Ricki Malet, Matt Jodrell, and Jack Sirret. During his studies, Faithfull has developed a unique sound. He blends Cool jazz with modern influences to create energetic music. Isaac has showcased strong musicianship at WA’s premium venues, including the Perth Concert Hall and the Ellington Jazz Club. He has performed with well-known organisations such as WAYJO (Western Australian Youth Jazz Orchestra) and the Perth Symphony Orchestra (PSO). He has also played with many touring artists, including Melisa Aldana, Troy Roberts, and Linda May Han Oh.
