I Love Paris is a romantic and spirited celebration of the music, glamour and artistic soul of Paris — presented across Bastille Day weekend.

Journeying through smoky jazz clubs, candlelit cabarets, the golden age of chanson and of course Edith Piaf. The show explores the extraordinary evolution of jazz in Paris and the city’s influence on some of the world’s greatest songwriters and performers.

Featuring beloved classics including La Vie En Rose, C’est Magnifique, Les Champs-Élysées, Les Yeux Noirs, Non Je Ne Regrette Rien, Que Reste-t-il and more. You’ll be transported from the intimate streets of Montmartre to the vibrant Paris jazz scene that embraced artists from around the world. The music of Édith Piaf, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Django Reinhardt was some of the more romantic, nostalgic and storytelling of its time.

Come and enjoy an elegant, atmospheric! I Love Paris is a love letter to the city of jazz in Europe, poetry and passion.

“The quality that sets her apart from other singers is that people of all ages feel ‘instantly familiar’ with her and soak up her banter and on-stage charisma.” ★★★★★ Steven Shaw / The Music Review

“The ever-reliable Summers displays her lovely intonation and impeccable phrasing
with panache – and she looks dressed to thrill.” ★★★★★ Australian Stage

“We talk about Catherine Summers off-air, and both feel the same way about her talent! Apart from accurate pitch and beautifully controlled vibrato, she has the style and maturity to carry off the Great American Songbook compositions – just like her US idols.” ★★★★★ Ann Bolton & Ken Turnbull, Jazz Life Main FM 94.9 Victoria
