Born in Uzbekistan and raised in Melbourne, Rita Satch creates music that blends soul, jazz and cinematic orchestration. Her songs move through themes of love, loss and renewal, carried by a voice that is rich, expressive and deeply moving.
Named Soul Artist of the Year and Soul Album of the Year 2025 by Echoes Magazine (UK), Satch has quickly emerged as one of the most compelling voices in contemporary soul. Her debut album Meet Me in the Garden (Silk Throne Records) debuted at No. 4 on the ARIA Australian Hip Hop/R&B Albums Chart and earned widespread international acclaim, with support from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Jazz FM and KCRW.
In 2025 she toured Europe with NEA Jazz Master Gary Bartz, performing sold-out shows at London’s Union Chapel and Ronnie Scott’s for London Jazz Festival. Her collaborators also include Barney McAll and Lance Ferguson (The Bamboos).
