The Heritage Reunion Jazzband is a seven-piece jazz band playing in the New Orleans style of traditional jazz. They delight audiences with their exciting, free-flowing, pulsating revivalist approach to jazz. Melody, rhythm and harmony are the hallmarks of this band.
In this special show, they pay tribute to the wonderful Pops himself, Louis Armstrong — the legendary New Orleans trumpeter and father of jazz. Expect an afternoon of joyful, high-energy New Orleans-style jazz celebrating the spirit, swing and humour of one of music’s greatest pioneers.
The band is a collection of experienced musicians who all play in other bands but love to come together for Heritage to perform high-octane trad jazz. Heritage are the aristocrats on the Perth scene…
