Recent WAAPA graduate, Aaron Caldwell, presents Beacons. A collection of all new original music that expresses the intricacies and complexity of the human condition. It is music made from places, people and experiences, infused with the heart and soul of some of Perth’s best musicians.

Aaron Caldwell is a saxophonist and composer based in Perth. His work spans genres and time periods, drawing heavily from the jazz tradition as well as more modern musical influences. He is a prominent performer and improviser, having various projects of his own whilst being an in-demand sideman for other musicians and bands such as Paperback Fort and Pareidolia. His writing is mature and numerous, being commissioned to compose and arrange for various people and organisations. Such as, for WAYJO in 2024 for their composer-in-residence program.
