Join us for a very special evening of music with Jessie Gordon taking us into the countdown at midnight and a very happy new year at The Ellington Jazz Club!
After a year of traveling the world, Jessie Gordon is back at her spiritual musical home to ring in the New Year with all of her favourite people (that includes you!). Join us for Perth’s jazziest New Year’s Eve celebration with delicious cocktails, and all that sparkles: sparkling wine, sparkling gowns and sparkling conversation!
Jessie is bringing the full force of her swing quintet to the stage and is joined by the all-star team: the impeccable Karl Florisson on double bass, the incredible Michael Perkins on drums, the indispensable Jon Knox-Matthews on guitar and this year we are joined by the indescribable Harry Mitchell on piano. Expect some swinging standards, a beautiful ballad or two, original tunes and a few titillating treasures along the way.
The night doesn’t end at midnight – the bar will stay open for those ready to dance, drink and welcome the new year into the early hours!
