Come to an exciting night at the Ellington Jazz Club with Venetia Edwards and her talented ensemble. They will be playing a variety of swinging high energy tunes with a few soft slow ballads and even a few surprises. This show is a love letter to swing and all music. Playing music for the sake of enjoying it and sharing it with one another. Whether you love to just sit back and listen or get up and feel the music run through your body this show is for everyone!

Venetia Edwards – Voice/Bandleader
Venetia Edwards is a versatile vocalist and performer, currently studying Jazz at WAAPA. She is passionate about the emotional aspects of music and performance, with a strong desire to create and share music that inspires and evokes an emotional response. With an impressive upper extension and coloratura capabilities, Venetia weaves thoughtful song interpretations as she hypnotizes audiences with her voice’s honeyed tone. Her voice has been described as sweet and angelic, resonating with a natural brightness coupled with crystalline clarity and vocal grace.
Venetia has showcased her talent at various venues, including The Ellington Jazz Club where she was able to sell out her first performance as a Bandleader. As well as Hyde Park, for the Perth International Jazz Festival, and the Wesley Uniting Church.
