Flynn has recently returned from a string of successful performances overseas in Singapore, the Philippines and Indonesia, including the prestigious, Java International Jazz Festival. The Ellington audience will be treated to a mix of swinging classic vocal tunes from the songbooks of Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Dean Martin, Tony Bennett, Michael Buble and more, with a sprinkling of James’s own original compositions. Add to this the incredibly talented, Lachlan Glover on trumpet & sax, Jackson Van Ballegooyan – piano, Pete Jeavons – bass & Mike Peneguy – drums, and you have all the ingredients for a sensational night of music.
