Frankie: Lilac Dixieland Tea Party

You are all cordially invited to Frankie’s Lilac Dixieland Tea Party – An evening that honours some of the most exquisite jazz pieces by renowned composers including; Cole Porter, Frank Loesser and Count Basie, to name a few! This swinging event is sure to leave you feeling jubilant, nostalgic, and wishing you had brought along your little suede shoes to dance in.
Since the age of ten, vocalist and instrumentalist Francesca Quinlivan (Frankie) has been performing in bands and orchestras around Perth. Nowadays, she irrevocably lends her heart to the enigma that is jazz and is currently studying at The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. Frankie brings to the stage her bubbly personality, vibrant wardrobe and earthy, alto vocals with influences from musical virtuosos such as; Amy Winehouse, Sarah Vaughan, Eykah Badu, Charlie Parker, Radiohead, Roy Hargrove and Nancy Wilson.
Playing alongside Frankie at Lilac Dixieland Tea Party, is an incredible band of local musicians and wonderful friends; Nick Abbey (Bass), Tim Voutas (Piano), Ryan Daunt (Drums), Oliver Vonlanthen (Guitar) and Meg Davidson (Saxophone).
