“I don’t think it’s overstating the case here – unsurpassable perfection!!” Sebastian Scotney, London Jazz News

In Australia, her voice can be heard regularly on ‘Dancing with the Stars’, ‘The Masked Singer ‘ and ‘Australian Idol’. Internationally her voice appears on films and documentary series on major streaming platforms.  Not to mention wowing the judges and Aussie audiences when she appeared on Season 5 of The Voice Australia. With 8 solo albums to her credit, guest appearances on ARIA award winning albums and a performance history longer than one’s own arm, it’s no wonder Nina Ferro is one of the most sought after vocalists on the international circuit.

“Ms Ferro’s mellifluous voice reflected her warm personality and as Bob Hope said of Dinah Shore: Naturally the voice is good. Just look where it’s been.” Jack Massarik, Evening Standard, London

Tonight, Nina graces The Ellington Jazz Club with a one night only Perth exclusive, weaving together all her musical loves and delivering repertoire close to her heart. Celebrating International Jazz Day with everything from Jazz, Soul and her own original compositions, and supported by the holy trinity of Perth jazz musicians, this is a world-class performance not to be missed.

More About Nina:

Nina Ferro is a multi award-winning soul singer, songwriter, session and recording artist with a powerful, evocative voice, impressive vocal range and captivating stage presence, considered by her peers and audiences alike to be one of the top vocalists around. An Australian and British citizen of Italian parentage, Nina has built an international following of fans and is in high demand both locally and abroad. Nina has produced 8 solo albums throughout her career. Her most recent album release Into The Light, saw Nina venture down a new but familiar musical path, creating her most personal album to date. Whilst Nina started out as a Jazz singer (singing that other kind of “Americana”, the American song book of Jazz), her music had become influenced more and more by her own passions and musical loves, those being Soul, old school R&B, Funk, Blues and Country which Nina brings into her songwriting. On 8th April 2024 Nina Ferro unveiled an original composition ‘Beautiful One’ that speaks volumes of her deep reverence for the music legend, Prince. She pays homage to the legendary artist, channeling his spirit into every lyric and melody. This homage is not just a song; it’s a testament to Nina’s profound admiration for Prince and a celebration of his enduring legacy, resonating deeply with fans worldwide.
