Jason Ji is an award-winning percussive fingerstyle guitar virtuoso. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music with a scholarship in 2021 and soon became an endorsed artist by Godin & Seagull Guitars as well as G7th Capo.

Jason’s one-man band fingerstyle creates a unique and captivating sound that earned him praises from the likes of Nile Rodgers and Jim Lauderdale. He has been featured in numerous events including being the only soloist at the 2019 Guitar Night (a competitively selected concert series featuring some of the best guitarists at Berklee), Concert For One by The Celebrity Series of Boston, the 2019 International Folk Festival at Berklee, winning second place at the Lancelin Busking Festival, and China’s Got Talent, where he received a unanimous vote of “yes” from the 4 judges and was the only person outside of China to be selected.

Jason is going to perform some never-heard-before original compositions, stunning fingerstyle guitar arrangements of classic tunes by Stevie Wonder, The Bee Gees, The Carpenters, Tommy Emmanuel etc. as well as 4 pieces that he is preparing to enter the International Fingerstyle Guitar Championships with next year.

Nile Rodgers (Leader of Chic & Legendary Music Producer) “Hahahahaha…hahaha!” (While listening to Jason’s performance)

Jim Lauderdale (Grammy-Winning Songwriter) “That was your’s? I thought that was a standard, wow!”
