Join pianist Jackson Van Ballegooyen and his trio for a swinging night of music at the Ellington!
Expect to hear plenty of classic jazz standards arranged in the style of Oscar Peterson, Nat King Cole and Diana Krall – brought to life by the incredible Lucy Iffla.

Jackson completed his Bachelor of Music at the James Morrison Academy in Mount Gambier, under the tutelage of some of Australia’s finest musicians such as Mat Jodrell, Carl Mackey, Grant Windsor and Ross Irwin. During his studies, Jackson joined Morrison on multiple tours around the country and in 2018 placed as a finalist in the prestigious James Morrison scholarship competition. Jackson graduated with First Class Honours from WAAPA in 2021 and has since been performing with some of Perth’s best musicians.
