Amy Winehouse is forever a powerful force of nature who transformed the face of music. Her divine, rare sound and lyricism of a brutally honest, poetic nature transcended her years. Inspired by jazz, soul and hip-hop, Amy used organic phrasing, flawless improvisation, and her signature rich contralto voice to create a sound unparalleled.
Frank By Frankie is a glorious celebration of all things Amy and back by popular demand after sold-out seasons at the 2022 and 2023 FRINGE WORLD FESTIVAL. Expect to hear an array of Amy’s most adored tunes from her much too short catalogue of albums: Frank, Back to Black and Lioness, including “Stronger Than Me”, “You Know That I’m No Good”, “Me & Mr. Jones” and “Valerie” … just to name a few!
Allow up-and-coming vocalist Frankie to serenade you into the night with her alluring tone and refined skill to honour The Great Amy Winehouse alongside an incredible, virtuosic 10-piece band. This is a performance you will not want to miss out on!
