Following a 5-star sold-out 2025 Fringe Season and a recent Asia Pacific tour, Emily Gelineau brings back the power of her Jazz Violin to the stage at Ellington Jazz Club! Described as “joyfully bopping and spinning with her instrument”, be ready for this award winning musician to take you on a journey of this rather unusual instrument in jazz, with fast fancy finger work that’ll see steam come off the strings! Joined by local jazz legends and friends, Emily showcases her favourite jazz genres, from Gypsy Jazz to the rhythms of Brazil and many more.

Emily Gelineau is an award-winning Violinist, Pianist, Vocalist, Composer and Arranger who is known for interpreting modern styles of music from jazz to country, pop to rock, and world styles. Residing in the USA for 4 years, she is a recent graduate from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA. She has performed live and recorded with many infamous and influential artists across the world, most recently recording Violin for the 8-Bit Big Band on their 2022 GRAMMY-Winning arrangement of “Metaknight’s Revenge”. Today, Emily is a well sought-after musician on the Jazz scene in Perth and Australia, whilst regularly earning composing commissions, arranging for the Perth Symphony Orchestra, composing for Film and Television, and performing as a guest entertainment onboard cruise ships.
