Following two sold-out shows at the Ellington Jazz Club this year, Bang Bang Betty & the H-Bombs return with another special 2 set event to kick off 2024!
Join us for an evening of fun and infectious music. You’ll hear undiscovered gems from some of the greatest rockin’ vocalists of the 50s… Ruth Brown, Wynona Carr, Peggy Lee, Lavern Baker, Little Esther and Big Maybelle, alongside the band’s own authentic originals.
Perth’s very own “Miss Dynamite”, Coo Jarvis, brings her sassy vocals and a dose of boogie-woogie piano to the party, fronting one the hottest live bands on the scene. In recent years, the H-Bombs’ explosive R&B sound has wowed crowds from Perth to Tokyo, with appearances in Japan, the Falls Festival, City of Perth’s NYE spectacular and their Fringe event “Wild & Swingin”.
Featuring Coo Jarvis (lead vocals and piano), Andy Jarvis (guitar), Mark Sprogowski (tenor sax), Dom D’Leno (drums) and Marc Gordon (double bass), the band’s musicianship is matched by their exciting repertoire. If you love hot swing, jump blues, rockabilly and wild rock ’n’ roll, don’t miss this show!
