The Sounds of Woodstock with KNiKi Saleeba!

KNiKi a Perth born musician, has a voice which at times is a gentle melody, at other times raucous and rambunctious. A dynamic performer commanding your attention as she delivers an energetic show which will explode in your ears

Four sell out albums, major national and international tour appearances at festivals throughout Australia, New Zealand, India, Nepal and Thailand. Her stage presence is larger than life and has an instantly identifiable and vivacious delivery.

The Sounds of Woodstock was born after an extensive music career travelling nationally and internationally with Mike Beale (Men in Blues) a Queensland Performer. They travelled for 10 years from India to New Zealand and Cook town to Tasmania playing shows to small and large audiences.

KNiKi’s musical roots and the success of those shows has seen her add some of that influential and iconic 60’s 70’s soundtrack to her current touring material.

Chris Gibbs

Throughout a career spanning over three decades, Chris Gibbs has been a permanent fixture in the WA music industry. Thousands of performances and seventeen original music releases have afforded Chris the opportunity to contribute to the music industry in many ways, from solo acoustic performances through to international tour support slots. Although popular as an acoustic performer in recent years, Chris is most at home on an electric guitar; his current musical focus is on his new original band Triple Engine, as well as several tribute acts including KISStake, Bulls On Parade and The Sounds Of Woodstock.

Bronton Ainsworth

Bronton started playing the drums when he was ten and since then has played in many bands all over Australia and around the world. He met many of his associates while studying a jazz degree at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts, which has sparked a journey covering all kinds of musical styles. He loves listening to inspired music and is greatly influenced by the masters who have come before.

Craig Skelton

Craig is an accomplished multifaceted musician with professional experience in composing, arranging, orchestration, song writing, musical direction, conducting and live performance across a wide range of genres. He is a multi-instrumentalist (bass, keyboards, voice, guitar, didgeridoo, percussion, drums) and has toured Australia, Asia, North and South America with various bands.

Joe Southwell

Joe is a versatile and trusty bassist from Perth, Australia, currently living and working in London, UK. Arising from the western coast of Australia, he cut his teeth playing in church and school bands before steadily carving a niche for himself shaping low-end frequencies on the Perth music scene. Joe has headed up a variety of projects as band leader and musical director; including Fort Knox and Gospel Extravaganza, as well as curating a jam night called The Night Squad. He has backed countless artists all the while undertaking to play the bass with prowess and ‘like a chameleon’, traversing varying musical realms but blending in without distraction to best serve the song.
