Simone Craddock

Tuesday 20 October 7.00pm

Tonight Simone delves into her chequered past, ahem, career, to perform beautiful songs and regale you with stories from a path less travelled. Drawing from the depths of those great American and British songbooks, which coloured the stages of Broadway and lit the silver screens of Hollywood, Simone weaves jazz, blues and latin together with gospel and soul. Combining artistry with an irrepressible sense of humour, and supported by some of Perth’s finest jazz musicians, an evening with this inimitable diva is an event to elevate your spirit!

Simone Craddock – Vocals
Adrian Galante – Piano
Nick Abbey – Bass
Bronton Ainsworth – Drums

Simone’s dual career in music and theatre has taken her across Asia, Europe and The States. She recently returned to her hometown of Perth, following twenty years singing and acting in London. She has performed in Europe’s most prestigious venues, including Ronnie Scotts, Houses of Parliament and Australia House and held a long residency with her trio at The Wellesley in Knightsbridge. She has a presence born of leading roles on the West End stage & International tours of Annie, Jesus Christ Superstar and Hello Dolly! Having already played the Edinburgh Fringe & London Jazz Festival, Simone was thrilled to make her Perth Fringe World debut earlier this year, winning the 2020 Music and Musicals Award for Nina, Love Simone.

“Clever and unique, imprinting her stamp…rapt, captivated faces hanging on her every note”
