Reece Clark & Friends presents Groove and Panache

Tuesday 15 June 7.00pm

After a brief hiatus Reece Clark & Friends are back and better than ever! Tonight’s performance promises to be filled to the brim with exciting new arrangements & compositions alongside a litany of band classics.

Reece Clark & Friends is a miniature big band known for their quirky and often dynamically hefty arrangements of well known pop and jazz standards. With a love for classic pop lyrics, modern harmonies and heavy swing feels, the band is constantly swapping between timeless arrangements of beloved jazz standards and funky fresh arrangements of timeless pop classics. The band draws inspiration from an eclectic mix of artists not often heard in the same sentence – from the timeless Ellington and Basie big bands to modern pioneers Jamie Cullum and Jacob Collier to the hilarious and witty Flight of the Conchords and local heavyweight Mace Francis.

Each tune showcases a different aspect of the band, from their killer musicianship to their ability to sing in 9-part harmony, it’s sure to be an amazing night with music and banter to please all ears.
Alongside an amazing night of music, there will also be copies of their first album, “Live at King Street” available for purchase at the bar.
