Don't miss this one-off event which will see the Jangoo Chapkhana Trio teaming up with brilliant guitarist Ray Walker for an evening of sophistication and swing. Musical collaborations like this don't come along often - don't miss this wonderful night of musicianship.

The West Australian’s Neville Cohn describes the Jangoo Chapkhana Trio’s performances as “having all the precision of a Swiss watch”. Now twelve years strong, those quicksilver runs sparkle more brightly than ever and the superb ensemble work and musical rapport that make this group a standout still brings the house down time after time.

With arrangements that are both sharp and sophisticated, an evening with the Trio is always a surprise. Known for their stylish interpretations of the Great American Songbook, the masterworks of Gershwin and Duke Ellington sit comfortably alongside the always unexpected reworking of a TV theme or commercial hit.

The Jangoo Chapkhana Trio has performed many times at the University of Western Australia and His Majesty’s Theatre and often tours country centres. Join Jangoo Chapkhana (piano), Murray Wilkins (bass) and Dennis Vrcic (drums) for a night of fabulous jazz standards at Perth’s premier jazz venue.

On the following drop down menu choose either table or bar. Table is seated, bar is standing. On busy nights small parties (1-3 people) share at the table. We have a range of tables that seat between 2-6 people.

You need to book one ticket per person, not the number of tables, so change the box which defaults to “1” to the number of people you are paying for. We will organise the tables according the number of people you book for.

If you have a group coming together but paying separately, nominate a group leader, and in the “comments” section of the online booking form, as the leader books, he/she tells us how many places to save, then the others paying independently put, for example, “Jane’s table” in the comments section of the online order form. This way we can be sure to seat your party all together. If you are coming singly or as a group and want to join another group, also tell us in the “comments” section.
