Trent White with the Graham Wood Trio

Perth’s newest up and coming jazz crooner Trent White returns to The Ellington Jazz Club for a special Sunday performance with a stellar trio lineup, led by Graham Wood.

Trent has been making his mark on the Perth jazz scene and continues to perform with the finest musicians around, including Libby Hammer, Ray Walker, Carl Mackey, Freddie Grigson, Hip Mo’ Toast and Perth Jazz Orchestra to name a few. This fine young singer with an entertaining, showman-esque and creative style also manages to study his craft in jazz performance full time, at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, where he is also resident vocalist for WAAPA Big Band - for the second year running.

Tonight will feature a generous, carefully selected array of Trent’s newly arranged repertoire, including much loved swingin’ treasures from the Great American Songbook, lesser known and comically teasing novelty numbers about the moon and stars, and Latin gems – sure to get you tapping away in your seat! Make sure you take this opportunity up as Trent and this top trio lineup grace The Ellington stage for a concert not to be missed.
