MELISSA ERPEN

Melissa is a vocal powerhouse influenced by the likes of Erykah Badu, India Arie, Chaka Khan, Imogen Heap, Alanis Morissette, Renee Geyer, Lauren Hill, Musiq Soul Child, Jill Scott, Brooke Fraser, Aretha Franklin, Joss Stone, Alicia Keys, Brandy, Eva Cassidy and Angie Stone... Quite an impressive list but Melissa has the vocal goods to really do justice to these artists. She recently returned from an extended stint in Melbourne and The Ellington is delight to present her for the Late Night Groove Series

MATT ALLEN

Matt Allen is a versatile and soulful vocalist who has been honing his skills since the age of 10. In the final year of his degree in Contemporary Music at WAAPA, Matt is currently completing an 8 track original album that he will be pursuing heavily in the coming months. Gigging up to 4 times a week, Matt is a highly experienced performer, playing in a duo, trio and ensemble setting at any given time. He is highly influenced by the likes of Stevie Wonder, D’angelo, Marvin Gaye, Brian McKnight and Al Green, which has helped shape Matt’s style as a soulful pop/R&B singer who delivers skilfully every time.
