Birdland

Birdland is a Perth based Jazz Vocal Trio featuring Sue Bluck, Jenny Wrenn and Kerry Byrom-Carter.
Whether swinging to Big Band arrangements or singing to electrifying Latin rhythms, the sound of Birdland is unique.

They have featured as guest vocalists on the ABC’s Manteca series, supported Sir Harry Secombe, and joined Tommy Tycho and the West Australian Symphony Orchestra for a concert series.

Recently Birdland toured nationally with Demis Roussos, culminating in a stunning finale performance at the Sydney Opera House.

Birdland is supported by the Mike Nelson Quartet, Featuring Mike Nelson piano, Paul Millard sax, Robbie Pisano bass and Gary Howard drums.
