Mace Francis Orchestra 5th Birthday

MFO 5th BIRTHDAY


Tonight celebrates the fifth birthday of the Mace Francis Orchestra – Perth’s only original music big band.  MFO will dig deep into their music library and play some old tunes that you have not heard for a while as well as some new music that has never been heard.

MFO started in 2005 with a weekly residence at the Lazy Susan Lounge (above the Brisbane Hotel).  Since then they have released 4 CDs, toured nationally twice and performed with American jazz artists Jim Pugh and Jon Gordon.  Next month they will be performing with New York musicians John Hollenbeck and Theo Bleckman.

MFO will be launching a limited edition Vinyl LP for this birthday celebration – so make sure you are there early to get yourself one.
