Logic has been making waves on the jazz/fusion scene since its inception in 1999. Based in Melbourne, Australia, the ensemble aims to present its own unique, contemporary sound whilst preserving the spontaneous and interactive approach of the jazz tradition. The compositions of Glenn Cannon and Tim Wilson stem from diverse musical influences including Jazz, Electronic, Latin, Classical, Folk and Pop music.

Logic’s self-titled debut album was released in 2002 and received glowing reviews and international airplay. Since then the group has also released The Waiting Game (2004), Native Strut (2008), The Heirachy (2010) and a live DVD, Live in 2011. 

The ensemble has supported international acts such as The Yellowjackets, and has performed throughout Australia, Asia and Europe at major jazz festivals including the Java Jazz Festival (Indonesia), Bekasi International Jazz Festival (Indonesia), Mosaic Music Festival (Singapore), Philippine International Jazz and Arts Festival (2009 and 2011), Hong Kong International Jazz Festival (2010 and 2011), Jarasum International Jazz Festival (Korea), Nine Gates Jazz Festival (Beijing), Beishan International Jazz Festival (Zhuhai, China), Vilnius International Jazz Festival (Lithuania), Melbourne International Festival of Jazz, Wangaratta Jazz Festival, Electric Jazz Festival (Melbourne) and the Ultimate Drummers’ Weekend. The group has also performed in Taiwan, Malaysia and Thailand.

This performance follows the band’s October tour of Asia and Europe and will showcase compositions to be recorded in 2012.

On the following drop down menu choose either table or bar. Table is seated, bar is standing. On busy nights small parties (1-3 people) share at the table. We have a range of tables that seat between 2-6 people.

You need to book one ticket per person, not the number of tables, so change the box which defaults to “1” to the number of people you are paying for. We will organise the tables according the number of people you book for.

If you have a group coming together but paying separately, nominate a group leader, and in the “comments” section of the online booking form, as the leader books, he/she tells us how many places to save, then the others paying independently put, for example, “Jane’s table” in the comments section of the online order form. This way we can be sure to seat your party all together. If you are coming singly or as a group and want to join another group, also tell us in the “comments” section.
